Program Manager Location: Midwest
The SAP Program Manager
will lead the SAP implementation to be installed in several cGMP-manufacturing locations.
This project will implement SAP functionality for Manufacturing, Inventory Management,
Finance and Controlling, Order Processing and Fulfillment, Materials Management, Quality
Management, and Purchasing, as well as interfaces with LIMS and Manufacturing Execution
Systems. The candidate will lead a cross-functional team of IT professional and subject
matter experts in establishing comprehensive business and functional requirements,
translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives. The candidate will
provide the overall project management and system development lifecycle management
necessary to deliver a quality compliant system. The SAP Program Manager is also
responsible for the coordination and management of multiple service providers, utilizing
both Company resources and/or outside supplier organizations. The Program Manager will
have overall responsibility for managing scope, budget and schedule for significant
portions of the SAP project. The candidate will also have responsibility for several
direct reports.
Skills/Experience: Must possess strong customer focus and ability to manage client
expectations. Strong SAP product knowledge and management of SAP implementation projects
is essential for this position. Experience with integrating complementary systems as well
as SAP bolt-ons a major plus. Functional configuration expertise as well as detailed
knowledge of SAP technologies such as ABAP and ASAP methodology are beneficial. Experience
with pharmaceutical manufacturing, especially bulk pharma manufacturing, is a plus.
Excellent writing and oral skills are required. The candidate must possess a minimum of 10
years experience in IT project management and deployment, and will have justified and
managed major initiatives.
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/MIS/Project Management is preferred but all technical
degrees considered. APICS CPIM Certification
