Clinical Data Management

Responsible for leading the Clinical Research
Data Management group and the Department
of Medical Affairs & Clinical Development.
Responsible for making complex global
critical data management decisions for the
department. Requires broad expertise in
clinical research data management and
strong management skills. Will direct and
manage all clinical data management activities
through subordinate managers in different
geographic regions on clinical studies.
Responsibility applies to Phase I through
Phase IV as well as some marketing studies
post licensure in single or multiple countries. Continuously develop data management
plans to address all aspects of data collection
and data management as well as developing
new strategies to meet current and future
business needs. Integrate complex research
questions as part of the ongoing clinical
research activities of the department and
produce meaningful, concise responses to
these problems or to meet critical timelines.
Provide the leadership to the group by
establishing a collaborative team environment.
Evaluate and select potential department
contract research organizations.

Requirements: Requires a minimum of a
Masters Degree with 10 years of experience
in pharmaceutical or biotechnology data
management designing, constructing, and
use of research databases for preparation of
clinical research papers, regulatory
submissions, and clinical research reports.
Seven years of supervisory experience.
Must be familiar with state-of-the-art clinical
research data management.
