| Formulations Coordinator-Pharmaceuticals
Position will coordinate and
participate in the development and evaluation of formulations,
processes and equipment for chemical entities
for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. Responsibilities include: preformulation
characterization, formulation of the dose form
and process development, scale-up batch and
clinical supply manufacture. Will coordinate
technical support and problem solving of mfg
activities, administration of the Product
Development and Technical Services
Department. Coordinates the activities of
staff scientists. Planning of experimental
investigations of product development. Project management responsibility and creativity
toward strategic approaches to product
development and technical services.
Preparation of project proposals, chemistry,
mfg and controls documentation for ANDA submissions. Direct supervision.
Requirements: BS or MS
Pharmacy, Chemistry
or scientific discipline pertinent to the mfg of pharmaceuticals. 3+ years experience in
product development and/or technical
services. Knowledge of processes and
equipment for the mfg of pharmaceuticals, preformulation, instrumentation. Must be
"hands on" type of person with
Supervisory experience.
