LIMS Program Manager

Location:  Midwest

The LIMS Program Manager will lead the implementation of a Laboratory Information Management System to be installed in several cGMP-manufacturing locations. This project will develop laboratory information management; chromatography and other related systems as well as necessary interfaces with SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems. The candidate will lead a cross-functional team of IT professional and subject matter experts in establishing comprehensive business and functional requirements, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives. The candidate will provide the overall project management and system development lifestyle management necessary to deliver a quality compliant system. The LIMS Program Manager is also responsible for the coordination and management of multiple service providers utilizing both Company resources and/or outside supplier organizations and will have overall responsibility for managing scope, budget and schedule for the LIMS project. The candidate will also have responsibility for several direct reports.

Skills/Experience: Must possess strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations. A strong knowledge of laboratory operations, LIMS, and project management is essential. Experience with enterprise resource planning, document management systems, and manufacturing execution systems a plus. Excellent writing and oral skills are required. The candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years experience in IT project management and deployment and will have influenced/managed major initiatives.
