| Manager, Molecular Biology
Location:
West Coast
Primary
responsibilities will involve supervision of a group of 14+ scientists, management of
multiple projects with rapidly changing priorities, direction of scientific programs to
develop DNA probe-based assays. Will direct projects to characterize, optimize and improve
products. Additional responsibilities include interaction with research, manufacturing and
quality systems groups to transfer projects through the product development process under
FDA-mandated design control regulations.
Ph.D. in
Molecular Biology or related field, with a minimum of 5 years experience in development of
molecular biology-based assays for clinical or industrial applications. Demonstrated
success in managing projects and people in a matrix management environment; experience
with design control and FDA compliance preferred.
