Level Project Management
Location: Northeast
Will initially be the
Project Manager on several matrix
teams responsible for the aggressive development of
innovative packaging and drug delivery systems. Will lead
cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives and
eventually will be responsible for a portfolio of both
packaging and drug development projects. Will manage
the activity of the project core and ad hoc team members
from the Research group and coordinating efforts with the
Medical and Scientific Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Finance,
Manufacturing, Outside Contractors, and non US counterparts. Responsible for preparation
of development
project plans, which cover all phases from inception to
launch including milestone achievement. Gathers input and circulates project plans
which integrate the pharmaceutical sciences, clinical development and/or product design,
production, key assumption, strategies, and accurately
reflect the status of the project. Will maintain and
understanding of contemporary project management
techniques, regulatory policy and medical practice
as they impact pharmaceutical/medical
device/packaging development.
Requirements: BS or MS
in Chemistry or Engineering
discipline with a graduate or Ph.D. desirable. Strong
analytical, organizational, interpersonal and written skills.
Min. 5 years in a leadership role in a pharmaceutical
or medical device related industry. Awareness of
regulatory environment impact development programs,
i.e. GMPs, GCPs, NDA submissions, IHC, etc.
Knowledge of financial controls, budget, management
of expenses, financial projections, cost estimation,
and cost efficiencies. An understanding of resource
planning and associated software tools
on a multi project level
