Business Unit Manager

SUMMARY
Oversee
all sales and marketing activities for assigned business partners.
Manage the sales growth process of creating sales forecasts,
identifying potential product enhancements, prioritization of product
development, and creation/implementation of marketing strategies for
all assigned product lines.
Develop
business plans, sales forecasts, and marketing strategies for all
product groups for the assigned business partners. Review customer
requirements for existing and potential new products. Meet with
business partners, physicians, clinicians, sales force and R&D
staff as needed to discuss current products and future development
needs. Oversee creation and implementation of product launch plans in
coordination with clinical and regulatory staff, and the assigned
business partners’ management team. Collect and analyze information
on competitive product offerings, including price. Oversee promotional
activities such as sales premiums, brochures, and related items.
Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all
product lines, promotional materials, and events.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s
degree (B.A.) in marketing or equivalent required.
Minimum eight years experience in marketing, preferable in the
biomedical industry. Prior
management experience required.
